The registration of a domain name refers to the name of a DNS server, resolving the names under the domain name. Prior to resolving the domain name itself, the name of the DNS server is resolved to an IP address. When the DNS server name suffix (.ca) is in the same tld as the user domain name, then an IP address record, known as glue record, is added.
